What is the ideal age to breed your female St. Bernard?  How old is too old to breed her?  If she has never been bred and is 6 yo is that too old to try and breed her?

The first question would be what your vet thinks after an examination.   Six years is fairly old for a breed with an average life span of 7-10 years.  I think you would be subjecting her to unneeded stress and complications for an older dog.
