I have been searching the Web for many a days for this question to be answered.

Thank you for taking my call:

I purchased EE Saving Bonds since 1988 & 1989. I can't seem to find anyone (even a Bank Manager) to give me a complete answer:
I have $50.00 Dollar Bond, and all I want to know is do I earn interest when I bought the Bond, or do I have to wait for 12 years before it matures, which means I earned nothing all the years I held on to this Savings Bond until 2004?

Thank you so much for your immediate response.

Gayle!
