Have heard he is a practicing Catholic of the liberal end of the spectrum. He saw The Passion of the Christ twice, for reasons he didn't elaborate on and considers that Mel is from the other extreme of the Catholic church. His focus is very values-oriented, around justice themes. Much of what he says jibes with a Christian world view although he supports abortion and gay marraige so he's obviously way out of the main stram and has a user-friendly approach to Scripture as opposed to taking it at its word. I don't know if he personal confesses Christ.

I think, as a chrisitan who reads the bible, discerment is a powerful tool of the holy spirit.  is Michael Moore a chrisitan?  the bible says we can tell a christian by their fruit, in other words, the work they do.  so is he spreading the message that Jesus spread?  Is he diplomatic and honest?  the answer to all of these is no.  this is a no brainer.  He is not a christian, he is a hero to non christians.  I say stop paying attention to him and move on to the next enemy-there will always be one.

No! he is not! how can he be a christian when he doesnt like god? and he is 4 abortion (killing the babies)
