I have a Ultra 2 with SunOS 5.8. I am having trouble configuring it to get out on the internet. I am not a UNIX expert so I don't know what files need to be configured but I believe it is a DNS issue. I can ping my default gateway from the Ultra but I can not ping using names. I created a resolv.conf file with:
domain <domain name>
nameserver <ip address>

I also changed the nsswitch.conf file to have an entry with:
hosts: dns files

But I still can't get out. Do I need to do something else once I change these files?
