The easiest way to transmit an executable is to use the package and deployment wizard in the Visual Basic 6.0 Tools Menu Directory. However, if you would like to make your own, it would take three years to complete in just VB. Using a batch file created in C++ and creating a GUI with NO progress bar in VB is very possible and will take considerably less time. The only problem with this is the fact that you will need to use an API function call which may not be able to complete its operation on every computer. So, your best bet is the Package & Deployment Wizard supplied by Visual Basic. *NOTE: When you do this, make sure you send the EXE, LST, and any CAB files created by the wizard. These files are necessary for deployment.
