A week and a half ago I got a beautiful new tattoo on my upper back. It's been healing nicely but 3 days ago I was in the sun all day and my entire back burned through my shirt! It was overcast when I left home and I had no idea I was going to burn through my shirt or I would have put on some sunblock. Now my tattoo and my back are sunburned and I am unsure what to do. I have been using Aloe Vera gel but I am starting to peel. What kind of long term damage could I have done to my tattoo? What do I need to do?
