if you want to kill the cats theres a perfect way just leave a cup of anti frezze wherever you want the cats to stop comeing and when the cats smell the anti frezze they like the smell and the when the cats drink the anti frezze it tastes to the cats sweet volia dead cats every where
or
if you just dont want the cats there try putting balllons filled with a little water and placeing them where you want the cats to leaveand when they hit the ballows POP cats wont come back

get two five gallon buckets full of water and hold em in it till they don't move any longer.  Heck you should be able to do that in about an hour and a half or so.  Just think then you have 29 days left to do what you want to

Burning them is ok. It's better to do it when they're alive
