My daughter is 4.5 years old and she has developed eczema. Now her eczema is very mild she only has it a little bit on her elbows that you wouldn't even know is there and she had it a little on the back of her neck. When I noticed this I took her to the doctor immediately. They gave her the cream hydro something, I forgot the name and told me to apply it for 5 days. Her skin in those areas are much better. She hasn't had any flare ups, the pharmacist gave me the aquaphor ointment and a pure natural hypo allergenic soap to use on her skin during baths every night. Her eczema is fine and one wouldn't be able to tell that she actually has even a mild case. This is hereditary, her cousin has it badly and I don't want her to go through that so I control it. My question is that my daughter loves to swim and wants to take swimming lessons this summer. I have been researching and some doctors say that eczema will not flair up from the chlorine and others say it will. I am afraid to actually start her in these classes hence the fact that it might cause a horrible reaction, what should I do?

My son took swimming lessons and his eczema flaired up a little nothing too bad.  He uses a cream called dermatop that we got from the dermatologist.
