i got my belly pierced about 3 months ago and the peircer used a numbing spray on mine, i was terrified of getting it done but he assured me i wouldn't feel a thing... i didn't, if anything it felt sort of tickilish, i could barely feel anything... no pain at all, it was brilliant!!!

My piercer didn't use any kind of numbing. She just pulled the skin out with the clamp, and shoved the needle through. Amazingly, it didn't hurt that bad. But I can't say I didn't feel it either. It hurt worst when she put the barbell in since it was curved and a little bigger then the needle. Otherwise, the little bit of stinging is worth the look!

I got mine done in my home town Tanzania (East Africa), it was done perfectly and professionally, and it cost me $20 at a pretty high-end place. The guy used numbing spray, and it was awesome, it instantly freezes your stomach (i could see the tiny hairs on my belly that i never even knew existed, freeze up and stand on end like tiny icicles... it was actually kinda pretty)
he pierced it, and it didnt hurt at ALL (trust me, i cry at injections), it didnt bleed, and even after, when i left, it wore off after an hour or so, and i'venever felt a SINGLE bit of pain cos by an hours time, the soreness you WOULD have felt, is gone and better. So YEAH it exists, its amazing, and if it only cost me like $20 bucks for the whole piercing, then ur piercer should provide it for free, or for really cheep at least.

GOOD LUCK!!! (p.s... it IS worth it... especially when you find that perfectly beautiful ring you want to wear it with :D)
