i know the question is very silly. but i am new to this...

i know the question is very silly.
but i am new to this technology.

if i have an e-purse application on the card. we say that we pay a fixed amt to the issuing authority and entry for the same is made in our card.

but if i lose the card am i bound to loose the  money left in the card. as far as i know the computing for the money is done on the card itself.
