Basically, you can't.  The encryption is very strong (unless you used a very short key size).  It would take the NSA a long time to crack it.  If you have the private key, the weakest link is probably your pass phrase.

It's pretty hard. But it would take the NSA mere seconds... you don't happen to work there, though, do you?

There is a program called pgpcrack that
attempt to crack pass phrases with a dictionary.  If you can help it out with even a partial approximation your pass phrase then you can probably get it cracked.

The weakest link in pgp is the passphrase.
English is considered to have about 1.7 bits of randomness per letter so a 35 letter phrase might be considered to have
roughly a 56 bit level of randomness.

But that doesn't take into consideration the use of a dictionary attack which if you used real words would greatly reduce your
key space.

There is a concern about 56 bit keys being too weak for financial purposes.

Typically the the you have a secure phrase indicator will max out at about 35 letters.

PGP is very strong with its methods of Alg's it makes up as it moves along. Elcomsoft has a prog which works great but uses Brute Force. Basically after much study's PGP uses alternating Algo's thus you must use Brute Force to CRACK. Good Luck JMB!
