Love them Jeeps!!!! My question is that 80% of the Cherokees or Comanches that I have seen/owned have a hard start problem. They crank and crank before starting (most anytime). What can I do to fix this problem?

the reason for long crank time is usually do to fuel pump internal check valve leaking
only fix is to replace pump.also some of them have crank sensor wiring problems and should be hard wired to ecm as per the Chrysler tsb

hey im instaling a head unit in my 86 cherokee....what are you sposed to do with the wires for the parking lights n the panel lamps?? anyone kno

I HAVE 1995 JEEP GRAND. I parked the jeep for  a month when went to start the battery was dead. I found the heater blower was running even when the key was off. why would the fan be running all the time? Thanks,

it could be your crank sensor located just about the transmission i would check there,also it could be your coil is about to go.....
