How do I train my chihuahua to go to a specific area to eliminate his waste in the house. I am using the puppy pads. I have three male chihuahuas and they have been house broke but they are used to being able to go out to do their business unless no one is home or no one can let them out quickly enough and then they would use a pad in my husbands aunts house where she had trained them to go. Now that we have them they want to use it in my floors all over the house and it is driving me nuts. They have never been on a leash so we have been unable to take them out that way. and right now we can't just let them out due to no fence being up and we're afraid they will run away or get ran over. Help if you can.

All that you do is find a spot in the lawn, and sit with your chihuahua till he finishes doing his busniess, and then walk him back to your house.  Repeat till it has gotten use to it.

it just takes time...bring them out as soon as they're done eating and just wait til they go ...i have a chihuahua to..she gets the hang of it but sometimes makes accidents it happens, also try newspapers if u want it in the house, i did.. .they like them! when u see him circling throw him on that paper and make him stay til he does his business!DONT EVER HIT THEM WITH PAPERS bc then they wont go on it, they'll be afraid of them ...hope this helps! good luck!  p.s. if u use a leash get a harness dont attach it to the color, it could collapse their trachea!

JUST TIE YOUR LITTLE DOG TO A HOT IRON.  WHEN HE POOPS ON THE FLOOR IT WILL BURN HIS ASS, AND COOK THE POOP.  SUPRISINGLY IT SMELLS TERRIFIC, WHICH LINKS THE SMELL OF ALL THINGS GOOD TO POOPING ON A HT IRON IN THE CEREBRAL CORTEX IN YOUR DOGS BRAIN.

Try sitting with them in closed room where you would like them to go. If they don't use the puppy pad, sternly tell them "NO" without raising your voice and tap them on the nose, but not hard. NEVER hit the dogs or yell at them. If they do use the pad, praise them and give them a favorite toy or treat. Keep doing this for a while and then see if they do it on their own.

you must leash train them everyday eventually they will learn they must poop and pee outside after a while when they are comfprtable going outside usually 2-3weeks you may remove the leash and have them listen to you. if they never listen to your voice commands put that leash on eventually they will learn

well it depends on the training and dedication you put on him. for example when the do their stuff i stick thier noses in and spankthem really hard. and put them in time out. its btter if you put a pad and close the door so they know they did wrong. also is to give them a treat evrytime they do on the pad so they know they did that. i hope that answered your question

I have a year and a half male chihuahua. He runs out of our house when he sees another animal and chases it, well he gets so caught up and won't listen to me no matter what. I use a stern voice, but he comes home when he finally wants to. We don't have a fenced yard. I also know he was beaten by the previous owners son, and now he growls and becomes very aggressive towards males. I wish he would listen to me and not get so aggressive with males.

hey whats up? I am getting a Chihuahua this saturday...and I wanted to know how you train them not to use the bathroom inside the house. I have 3 dogs that live outside so I don't have to worry about them. But if I'm getting a dog inside I really need to know what to do. Thanks for all your help. Please leave a comment!

I have a chihuahua and she is about 10 months old she is in the house all the time. Everytime we have company over she barks and tries to attack our visitors. How do we stop her from doing that. We are affraid to have people over, we aleays have to lock her up in the room or bathroom and even then she starts to rip everything up in the bathroom and tear up rugs and toilet paper.
