If i am connected to Internet through LAN, can the Internet provider know what web pages i am searching, does firewall protect from that,  how can i solve it? Thanks.

Yes. All your network traffic ultimately routes through their hardware, and therefore can be analyzed, recorded, etc.

Not only your ISP but the websites you visit can now track you as well.
