I'm fifteen.. I have my ears pierced n that's about it :). I'm looking for a studio where I can have my navel pierced, my parents consent :D.. I will also be getting my nose pierced, and four additional ear piercings within the next five months.. My advice to everyone is please don't eva go behind your parent's back, there's absolutely nothing cool or cute or gangsta about that. That's just what a coward would do, and you're not a coward. Claim ya game, come out and discuss it wid your parent(s), cos some days.. I want to get my belly button pierced and i just turned 14. I live in Alberta and apparently you have to be 14 AND go with a parent here. My parents said that if i wanted it that badly, I could wait until I was 18. That is a major pain, because I've been waiting for 2 years...Why would they think that it's abuse if the kid is like, asking for it? They let parents take their 2 month old babies to get their ears pierced, and I don't think they got the babies consent...They've already changed the age for a learners license to 14 and I need to wait until I'm 15 anyways...It's completely pathetic...I know that my mom got her ears pierced without her parents permission when she was a kid and nobody stopped her! Why does everybody think we're SO irresponsible? There are a lot of adults who are a lot worse! l8r

Okay, doesn't anyone here know how to type properly? Im thirteen, and I live in Victoria Bc, and I am going to get my nose pierced with a PARENT. And obviously, if you are under 13 and you want to get a serious piercing like a navel piercing, a lip piercing, etc, even if you are with a parent, sometimes the piercers will say no. But in some cases, some piercing studios will pierce you underage, but it is less likely. And for all you 11 and 12 year olds wanting to get navel piercings.. Uhhm, just calm down? It's just a piercing, and besides, in certain countries, they have certain age groups etc, and some will let you get pierced without a parent when you are 16-19, but its different in different places. So calm down? And what if you kids don't even want these piercings when they go out of style? I mean come on. Okay? Just some advice: Talk to your parents about it.. Don't self-pierce. Okay? Bye.

Well the age limit is usually 16 and then 18 by yourself. But I'm thirteen and I wanted my lip done and my nose..So i just did it myself..It doesn't hurt..But i guess it depends how you do it. I know in Pennsylvania you can get it done when you're thirteen depending on who you go to. So I mean I agree with Kaysey.....If your dumb enough like me to pierce yourself at least make sure you're doing it right. because you could really one hurt yourself and two mess it up..and have it come out wrong..or like my lip it wont heal cause i pierced it with a needle..and then put an earing in it and then finally put a regular lip ring in it..but i cant put studs in because it comes right out cause the back of my lip had three different holes because i did not pierce it right. But with my nose i used an earing..i got it from Clair's. It was one that is an actually piercing earing. that they first put through your ear. Not the ones you buy after words. It hurt less... Make the right decisions.

ok to kasey: if were 11 or 12 it shouldnt matter cause youre just bringing us all down about piercings cause if we didnt want it why would we be asking strangers online??? youre probably 12 too you just think other 12 year olds are retarded or something we CAN spell but its the internet we arent getting graded gosh you sound like a teahcer and to all of you asking or saying about belly button piercings and other piercing this is a forum about nose piercings im 12 and i want my nose pierced and dont tell me oh its self mutilation and all that crap cause if someone doesnt want a piercing why would they do like 2 weeks of research and bugging their parents!?!? i think if you want a piercing ask your parents and if they say no bug em til they say yes! x] and then call a local piercing place and ask how much it will be and how old you have to be and then set a time and date and get it done!

no proffessional studio will peirce someone under the age of 16. reason being is the fact thats the age you can get a state issued i.d. the parent also has to have their id, and if the last names dont match up, some kid of document with the mothers maden name, or someother form of id to prove its the parent. student ids, and cheap courthouse ids are easy to fake. so bars, and tattoo shops dont ussually eccept them. if you want a good peircing done, wait till your 16 to have you parent sign for you. you are having something done permenantly, that can effect how you look, and if its not done right someone could do permanent nerve damage. if you are serious about getting it done correctly 16 isnt long to wait to have someone that takes their job seriously to peirce you.

hey wow yeah i think that its okai to want a piercing wen your 9 10 11 but to get it done would be an other thing yes i did want a piercing at that age for so so long but hello your like in grade wut and you could barely take care of yourslef wut makes you think you could take care of a piercing i find 14 is a good age for a belly ring or just about to turn 14 speaking for my self not for a stupid parent i think that parents thinkt hey no best for you all the time and ti gets a lil out of hand and i do not think that they should be telling us wen we could get it done cause onestly its no big deal i find theirs always finding knew thing tos say about geting a piercing and i find its rediculas

I just went to have my lip done. When i got there they said i had to be 16 and i am only 13 my mom was with me and they still said no so i called around and they said its a law, you have to be 15 or 16 with a parent and 18 by yourself.

I am really mad to. My mom won't let my get mine done and I am 11. She thinks it to sexual. i don't know what the big deal is it is just a piercing.

It's legal where i'm from as long as you have a parent with you. If you are by yourself you have 2 be 18. I'm 15 and i have mines don.

I am 13 and 14 in 4 months, I live in Ontario Canada. I went to get my eyebrow done and had my mother with me and they said that by law they could not pierce anyone under the age of 14 because it is considered "Child Abuse" I am going to look at the age limits for other places in ontario though, cuz im not gonna wait 4 months for my eyebrow piercing

You are all way too young to be getting pierced. You're 11 and 12 years old. Look at how you type and spell, you cant even form comprehensive sentences, what makes you think people will take you seriously when you want to have metal stuck through your body?

There is some place in Stockton, MN that pierces you if you are 14 and have a parent. You must make an appointment and have a way to prove that you are really with your parent.

wel were not stupid we can spell we type lik this cos much easier & faster way of typin .i was told it better to wait til ur grown cozs u dnt want a scar if they dnt care then o wel its there body & if there parents say yes it up to them some places dnt do sme do u look around ur find a place that wil do it.

I have been told you can have it done at any age with parents there, but 16 to get it done by yourself. I want it done next Summer, and I'll be 16 by then, so even if they say no, tuff sht really! But I don't think 11 and 12 is too young for a piercing... but only ears really. I think any face or body looks strange on young people, it looks as if they are trying to be "hip". giggles*

I am 15, I have been getting pericings since i was 11. I have my lip my ears 18 times and my belly botten top and bottem. and my clitoris. At any age in the state of Louisiana under Napoleonic laws you can get it done at any age. Now other states in the north its 13 through 17 with a parents or guardians, east its 10 through 17 same, And in the west it is based on the body studio you go to. You just have to know where to go.

well i am 14 and i want my tongue pierced but it will cost me 60 and if i wait until i am 16 i can do it for 25 and i think that is stupid. but i am going to get my tongue pierced with my next paycheck but of course i have to have my mom with me.and ya a place to do it is Silver Safari if you can find one around you.

i know alot of places in ontario where you can get piercings with parents. they won't let you to get your lip done because most places prefer not to until your 17. i don't know why, and im pretty sure that 16 is the age where you can get anything on your own

I wont my belly button pierced i live near Port Macquarie and ur alowed 2 grt it done at any age as long as ur gardien or a person ova the age of 18 is wit u! My parents wont let me im 13 but 14 in 3 months i also dont c the big deal its just another pircing like gettin ur ear pierced!

Yea, I am 15 and I got mine done in May, I called so many places and most of them said you had to be at least 16 even with a legal guardian. I think that 15 or 16 is a good age anything below for any piercing except ears, kid are getting things pierced to young and parents are allowing it. I think it's totally wrong. Juls

actually, i got my older brother to take me(he's not really my big bro but we look alot alike). And he looks like he's in his 30's and he took me and said he was my father and they accepted it and i'm 15. i'd do crazy shyt like that but i dont have it any more since it got infected when my mom found out and she accidentally pulled on it. i plan on getting another one in a few yrs. or i dont know

Um...Some places do it, or you can do it your self..I have done everything myself and I've had everything so...oh and to the person above that said people 11 and 12 have no right to have metal stuck through their body or whatever, you have no real right to say that...Who are you to judge what they should or shouldn't do? anyway...ask around, or get a sibling or something...

i do believe that the legal age in Canada is 16 with no parent that means that i have only nine months to wait until i can drive myself across the border or get my brother to so i can get my 16 piercing and two tattoos, w00t

you can get anything done with a parent but some places have their own rules that dont go with what your state says. when i got my belly botton done i we had to walk around my town to find someone that would do it because i had my mom with me and stuff and only one place out of like the 5 to 10 in my town would do it for me. so you just have to look and youll find someone

i'm 17 now and i have had my nose and bellybutton pierced for about 5 years. i also have 3 different tattoos. i got my first one when i was 12. i guess you just have to know people that tattoo and pierce from inside their own homes.. go to trenton new jersey!

yeah i agree you guys are kinda young to be getting stuff pierced but whatever i doesnt matter to me just make sure its not something you will regret because when you go to get a job no one will take you serious or hire you plus the fact that when you get older and dont want it anymore you will have a nasty scare on your face ... just consider some things before you make the decision. i think piercings are cool though i have a few of my own.. oh and to answer your ? about age, i heard its 15 for facil w/o a parent(my brother told me that so i dont know how true it is) and 18 for genitals but if you have someone that knows what their doing just do it at home

I'm 14 years old and i think that you should be any age but it has to be between at the age13 and up to get a piercing. But some people say you have to be a certain age to get any piercing besides the ear. So thats whats up. Peace out
