I have a 1 year old male Blenheim Cavalier that is experience back leg problems. It's like he has hip Dysplasia when he tries to get up.  If he tries to get up after lying around for a few minutes, his back legs seem to stiffen and he has to use the strength/power of his front legs to pull up to standing on all fours.  He doesn't seem to be in any pain, but I'm very concerned.  The Vet has checked him out and said he didn't believe it was Hip Dysplasia and gave him an anti-inflammatory.  This made it better but did not make it go away.  I'm taking him in for X-Rays in a few days, but I'd like to know if anyone knows of a disease, other than Hip Dysplasia, that could be causing this. Anyone know?
