My son Jack Russell acts real strange around children, he shakes, pants, and is obsessed with licking them. We can not distract him from stalking the children. We are afraid to let him out of our sight for a second for worring what he might do. Can you tell me why his is so nervious, he has never been around children before.

Is he just really excited to see them? My one dog came from a home that had small children in it and he was always excited when he saw little kids too. If you didn't have kids around before then he could have seen them and thought "my owners have returned!!!!" and he was so excited he didn't know how to show it so he showed it the only way he knew how.
