My "dumpster Kitten" is continually thirsty, she wont gain weight although she eats continually. I wormed her x2 wks ago. She also has what looks like scabs all around her face, she has the same places on her body, and she scratched constantly. I treated her for ear mites, bathed her and was able to remove most of the "scabs" She looks better  though is still scratching at patches that look almost like psoriasis (spelling?). It is making me itch, though this could be psychosomatic..hummm..she does not play like other kittens her age --about 4 months.

Has this  kitten been checked for ringworm or mange?  Both can cause itching, hairloss, and scabs.

Excessive thirst can mean that she either likes water (like one of  my cats), or it could be something else.
