When someone emails me a jpeg file I can not open it.  What do I need to do?

One can save a jpeg file in photoshop as CMYK. Having not put back the file in RGB mode and have it mailed can cause this error message if the receiver does not have the appropriate programs to see the file in CMYK.

I need to open jpg  files attachments togather  with  e-mails,therefore if I need  to  download some... help me  please
