Only for those who possess pity.My husband's job may depend on his solving a formula he doesn't know enough to describe, doesn't,t have a clue about computers or the resources, and has a woefully uneducated wife and computer newbie trying to help. Please. Point the direction. Formula to determine (Industrial Iron Pipes)length of bends, if radius (50) and diameter are known, angle is known (90 deg). This is project in a power plant, he is self taught in estimating, because he is first an insulator, then Safety Sup. now they give these things. Please, you are very smart people, I have searched web all night, I can't quite get either wording right, or the correct field, and a grade 7 education  seems to refuse enough understanding of JUST what the heck I should be asking. In return, I promise to never ask you guys anything, ever again. I won't tell any one if you help me, (you're reps can't survive newbie abetting)But if you ever want someone to look up stupid stuff for free, I'll be the one with the freaking bells on. Thank you for looking at this, and thank you for not laughing at me, and I forgive the guy who just rolled his eyes.
Trolly  P.S. Can you help NOW?

oy.  A circle has a circumference of 2*pi*R, or in this case, 314.16.  A circle also has 360 degrees.  Your bend is 90 degrees, or one quarter of a circle.  Thus, the length of the bend is 341.16/4, or 78.5.  This is through the center of the pipe.
