I'm gonna get my naval pierced and i was wondering if i can participate in gym class 3months after getting it pierced? Is it a good idea if i put tape over it? and when getting it pierced, which is better and less irritating, a barbell or a ring? EMAIL me back ASAP @ CartwheelT24@aol.com

hey im getting my naval pierced soon and im getting a 14 gauge barbell. i don't want to get a ring cuz they don't look as great and probably get caught to ur shirts and rip out easily and i'lljust clean my naval real good and it shouldn't get infected.
im just wondering does it hurt more with a barbell?
