I got my tattoo last about one week ago on my upper thigh.  There is one piece of the tattoo that is not healing right because its on the crease of my thigh when I sit down.  It's sore and the scab is coming off prematurely.  If the scab comes off early, will the color come off with it?  Is there something I can do to prevent this?

keep applying lotion to it and when it heals and if the color slightly comes off, don't worry.  Artists are usually cool with coming back for a touch up.  Not every person holds ink the same way.

There usually is always a spot that will need touching up.  If the scab is coming off from natural wear and NOT from you picking at it, you should be fine.  Plenty of lotion and you'll be okay.

don't' but lotion on it, that will just make it worse, keep it dry and just leave it a lone, it will heal in its own time, then go back and have a touch up-most of the time they're free, tattoo artist want their work to look 100%
