Yes, Yorkies are in dog shows. Cede Higgens was a yorkie that won Best In Show at Westminster. Many may suggest feeding a yorkshire terrier a food called Royal Canine-Yorkshire. It is specially created for long coats and healthy teeth. It is extremely expensive and may not be worth the cost.

always feed your yorkie dry food to maintain good dental hygiene and to also shave the hair around the anus to prevent any infection
