I've never seen the last episode of the show. How does the series end?

Sorry, the series didn't really have an ending. Everyone was expecting another season, but the network decided against it. Since they weren't expecting to end the series, there was no final wrap-up episode. Years later a TV movie was made where the castaways were rescued, with amusing results, but that's another story...
