my cat has bald patches........has no fleas......what causes this......she seems to pull hair out

my cat is the same. When i took him to the vet, he said that some cats are so bored they pick on themselves and that's the reason. I wasnt particulalry satisfied by his answer but I have not found a better explanation yet.

my mother's cat has the same thing for years.  One vet told her he was doing it to himself just like some teenagers cut themselves.

well you may have bought a bald cat and not realised, as it may have had hair stuck on it with super glue. I am ever so sorry to break the news, i will have your bald cat if you do not want it as i love them and have a collection.
