I've had my bellybutton pierced 6 times.  The first time it lasted 6 years then the hole became too big and the jewelry fell right through.  Every time after that my piercing don't last more than a month or two before they develop some sort of blood blister and the skin becomes really thin and rips out.  I'm thinking maybe the scar tissue is rejecting it?  I really want my bellybutton pierced to hide my scar.  Any suggestions?

if you are re-piercing it using gold jewelry sometimes the body rejects the gold  if so try one with surgical steal

to that girl Teff. the size of your belly button doesn't really matter. if you can find someone who is good at piercing then you will be fine. i have peirced alot of bellys (among other things) and i have figured out how to deal with the differnt sizes of belly buttons. If you want it done then go for it just make sure you get some one good and you keep it clean. OK now for Emily....what that one girl said about the gold is true that helps out alot it all depends on you. Mine when i first did it  was infected but i refused to takes it out in then after a week or two it was gone. Try pirecing it again and use ether gold or surg. silver and if it doesn't work that time then i hate to say it but you body may just not like it and u may need to give up befor you make it so u have a big scare on ur belly.

I have my belly button peirced, but it was peirced with a 16 gauge ring...should I put a bigger one in (it gets sore) or should I get it re-peirced?? If I get it re-done, how long do I have to wait, and do I have to wait for it to grow over?

to luckyhearts.  do it.  just don't let gma see.  she'll get over it if she does.  the bible also preaches forgiveness and acceptance of everyone.
to sarah, go to tribalectic.com.  they are pros.  but, my opinion is that you put slowly move to a larger size, gage by gage.  it will start out sore until it gets used to it.
for other questions i highly recommend tribalectic.com.  let me know what you think of my answers or the site, halestorm03@hotmail.com

I'm in middle school and I really want to get my belly button pierced for graduation with a couple of my friends. My one friend pierced hers with a stud earring and i almost did but didn't want my mom to find out in case I got an infection. I was looking on the internet to see like details about it and someone said that if you're really skinny that they suggest not getting it because it is really easy to rip out. I am really skinny. But the fact that I'm only 13 comforts me because that means that I'll gain weight. Is it totally risky getting it done?

I dont think you will have the same problem, but just in case you do ,you might wanna tell your piercer that you had that problem and you never wanna touch your belly button ring to much or take it out at frist.

this is to Emily.. you might have like sensitive skin or something.. usually that is to mixed metals..but i dunno I'm not some specialist..although i know even my ears rejected lots of metals.. all i can where is gold or surgical steel .. just see what works for you, it also can depend on sterilization.. so try it again and don't worry :)

playgirl .. I think that you should get your belly done. I had my ears peirced 3 times because it got infected, then i did it again and i've had it in for years. I got my belly done for almost a year now and it's fine. You should give it a go. Belly rings look awesome for the beach!I'm loving mine! =D

To Emily. To show I care I think you see a doctor and tell your parents. So they get mad, but if you want bellybutton rings to be inside you then you, then your nuts.

i just had ma belly button pierced yesterday and it's soooo worth it. it doesnt hurt when youre gettin it done and it looks sooooooooooooooooo cute! You can't even feel it's in there. it just feels normal. just as long as you clean it properly and keep it fry for the first couple of days then everything will *hopefully* be fine. Any suggestions on where to get some good cleaning spray/gel. I dont want to get it infected :S
