I heard some where that in larger breeds of dogs you sometimes can't tell that they are pregnant till the last week or so. At 8 weeks along my vet couldn't tell my Husky was pregnant ,but that was her first pregnancy. Could she start showing earlier as her body matures? About three weeks ago I thought my dog was pregnant couse she really poofed out, but then up till now she's kept it hidden as a tiny poof. All of A sudden she's growing again and i'm leaving on a trip so i'm not sure whether she only just starting her pregnancy growth of if she's almost to the end and I'd REALLY like to know because there are other dogs in the same pen as her!

I carried my husky to the vet last Saturday.  He said he thought she might be pregnant and if she was she would have the pups in a month or so.  Today, 6 days later...she had 5 big puppies.  She just looked slightly round.
