I bought a APBT from a pet store. The store said they get all there Pits from the same breeder whos Pits are NKC registered and gave me paper worked which verified this. My Pit is 10 months old and looks nothing like any Pit I have ever seen, and everyone thinks she is a mutt and not a pit. How can i figure out if she is a APBT?

This may be the epitome of stupidity, but I haven't heard of NKC. Maybe you should just stick to ADBA.  Don't bother with UKC either, unless you want inferior dogs.

NEVER NEVER NEVER buy an animal from a pet store.  No decent breeder would EVER sell to a pet store.  Pet store animals are almost certainly inferior and unhealthy specimens.  Don't support people who breed for money, not quality.

Hey man I have heard of the NKC.If the pet store produced registration papers than its more than likely you have an APBT or some ones interpitation of one.Remember there are many types of APBT ranging in all sizes and builds.Every pit does not have diamandshaped
chinese eyes, and most Pits are not these short bow legged things with heads to big for there body. Most APBT with out there ears clipped look like a regular old hound dog.
