My dog is half border collie and half Aussie.  She is by far the smartest dog i have ever worked with.  There is one problem though.  Her disposition is impeccable around nearly everyone.  however, she is very timid around small children and people of darker skin color.  what can i do to make her more comfortable?  i am afraid she may bite out of fear yet i have never seen her to show 'True' aggression.

you should ask friends or neighbors who are of darker skin coloring to make her do some of her favorite tricks and give her lots of goodies, and praise.  If you trusted her enough you could also ask some of these people to take her on little walks and throw a ball for her, and just generally be very fun and exciting!  Also with the small children, just make sure that if any approaches her while you are out walking, you tell then how to pet her, and to be gentle.  You could also hand them a treat to give to her. Soon she'll be thinking kids and dark skinned people are the best people in the world!!
