B1 visa is for Tourist people
B2 visa is for Business people. They are allowed to remain in the US only for a limited period of time. (Usually 90 days and can be extend it up to 6 months).
People traveling under B2 visa can`t be part of the work force of the US.
Must apply for a H1 visa from its own country of Citizenship or permanent residence.

The entry into the US it will be authorized by the Immigration Officer at the port of entry.
The visa does not guarantee the entry into the US.

You may use your B1-B2 visa for business (attending meetings, conventions, and business negotiations), and tourism purposes. You may also use the visa for short-term training or a company course if your company in India is covering your salary.
