in some states like misagan if you are under 17 you can't have a pit.

As I recall they are outlawed entirely in Miami.

They are now outlawed in Denver, CO. Aurora, CO is considering three options (restraining them to their home, eliminating them in the city and/or requiring they be muzzled in public. I had a response that Canada is or has taken some restrictions as well. I didn't know about Miami. My 5lb Maltese was killed Friday. Taken out over my picket fence and over the high cactus border I have planted and killed her on the sidewalk. The dog walker had THREE pit bulls on leashs and couldn't control them.

American Pit Bull Terriers are outlawed in Denver Colorado, and Miami Florida. Aurora Colorado is also trying to outlaw American Pit Bull Terriers.

I do know that they are outlawed in Miami-Dade Co. Ga. is attempting to pass a state wide law making it illegal to own ANY of what they call a vicious breed of Dog, with Pit Bull's being the main culprits.

Pits are outlawed in richland, ms and madison county in ms and in ca. entirely
