How long has this been going on?  Has she eaten or drunk?  Is she able to keep anything down?

Without knowing the answers to those questions, it's darn near impossible to give any response.

Chi's sometimes get an upset tummy and will spew a little foam.  Usually no big deal, as long as they're eating or at least drinking.  If they've spewed up everything they eat or drink and keep vomiting, then you need to Take Them To The Vet NOW!!!  Chi's don't have much reserves, they need attention a lot faster than a big dog.

My 4-year-old male chihuahua was vomiting yellow foam almost daily for the last few months. The vet suggested switching his food. I transitioned him from Nutro MiniMax chunks to Iams adult mini chunks and he has not vomited a single time in almost four weeks. The breeder he came from uses Iams for all of her breeding adults and puppies; I thought I was doing a good thing switching him from Iams to Nutro when he was a puppy, but I won't go back since I think Nutro has changed their formula somehow.

hoonie, our chi hua hua, came home from an outing where he might have eaten something weird and gave a squeal of pain and then vomited yellow foam.  I am wondering if sheila'sdog was okay?
