I have been meditating for about a year. ever since 3 months...

I have been meditating for about a year. ever since 3 months after I started, I've been achieving the deep level of simply "being" and full awareness that effective meditation produces, usually within 5-15 minutes after i begin meditating. OF course, my breathing also slows waaay down and almost "takes control of itself" and I simply am a passenger along for the ride(very cool). My problem is that the moments of total awareness are still very fleeting. As soon as i "realize" what's happening,..it stops. How do i continue this frame of "simply being" for 30-40 minutes?

Meditation is your true nature. It is
another name for you. Abide in that
understanding and you will realize such
lapses don't really occur. You are the
One Consciousness Pervading All.
