By limiting the release od CFCs into the atmposhpere. But researchers are sure about why the ozone hole is getting bigger or smaller, even though some have proved the CFCs play a part, temperature and the climatic changes play a major part.

The CFC's come from the carbon dioxide too, so you need to reduce carbon dioxide before you can reduce the CFC's! Hope this helps!

The above comment is completely wrong.  The fact that you can't visually see the o zone layer does not mean that you can't hurt it.  It is a mixture of O2 and other molecules, which you can't see.  When accumulated, the gases are an integral part of Earth's protection form the Sun.  And the Scientists who are working for the world's protection would never lie.  Everyone knows that.

As a whole planet, people need to congregate with the initiative of fixing this stupid environmental problem that we have created, because if serious action and improvement isn't taken for the O Zone layer, then Earth will definately fry.

well you could unplug your coffee makers, blow dryers, etc and this will decrease the release of CFCs in the environment. hair spray cans, PAM, and other spray cans are also VERY harmful. get the noncontinuous spray Pam instead =]
