i have a 4 mon old Siberian husky that i got from a "breeder". but they keep telling me that they don't have the papers. when i bought her for $300 they said i would have the papers in 2 weeks. its been 3 mon. what can i do? and is this right?

NO it is not right but are the papers with AKC? We sent in for papers so we could register our pups and they took over two months to send them! It could easily be that the "breeders" were just dishonest. You can try to register iyour dog anyway. Go to http://www.akc.org/registration/index.cfm to find the requirements to register with AKC. Or if you want to work with a decent registration go to www.aprpets.org or email at apr@aprpets.org. This place is APR and we switched to them because AKC was so bad to work with. These guys are great though. They took less then a week to send us a letter. Good luck! Tanisha
