She will have a swelled vulva and vaginal bleeding, red in color turning to milky later on. During this time it will be almost impossible to keep her and males apart. She may get depressed and stop eating because of her urge to breed. Do her and yourself a favor and spray her. If you don't have enough money try putting a little aside until you can.

hi
if she is in heat and she is not a purebred or you don't want her breding then you could try and keep her in side your house for a few weeks and you could also just keep an eye on her constantly.
