I have a 1995 plymouth voyger van that has a bad  4 speed automatic transmission. I have found a 1989 with a rebuilt 4 speed automatic transmission that appears to be the same. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable?

What's the problem with your transmission?

I have a '90 with a 4 speed and it would downshift on its own while doing 60 MPH (100 kph).  I replaced the throttle position sensor and its working fine now.
