I have a new puppy, just got her yesterday, she is a 6 week old rat terrier.I have only had her for 24 hours. I've tried to put her in a crate for short periods, but she absolutely screams bloody murder every time I've tried. She doesn't whine, she howls, she actually screams. I've tried putting her where she can see me, where she couldn't see me, I've tried her with toys, with a piece of my clothing, with her blanket, nothing works. I thought at first that she would stop eventually and go to sleep, or settle down, but it just doesn't happen. She gets so upset when I am not with her every moment, she coughs, gets sick, and I just don't know what to do. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks,Kelly

well when putting her in her crate but a watch under her blanket or pillow what ever you have this will sound like her mothers heartbeat and calm her down
