I have a 1953 five dollar bill.  Is this a collectible piece or a waste of time and space?

There are collectible, but not for much more than their face value. An example would be an Uncirculated Crisp 1953 2 dollar bill would be worth around $10 to 13.50 for collectors. Lesser quality runs about $5 for one that has some very minor wear (a hard to see crease, minor discoloration, etc). I will buy 1953 2 dollar bills for $4 all day long in most conditions other than 'worn'.

I have a five dollar red seal and I wandered the same.
