Corrupt IN Box:

Upon launching Eudora this morning I found all (but one) of my previously viewed mail to be corrupted and displayed like the following.  I've experienced no viruses or other anomalies.  I have tried all I know but cannot restore any messages.  Can anyone offer an explanation or resolution?
