Man, I've gotta put in my two cents here. Take it from me - lived in Sharpstown through DJ Screw's finest years. Real drank is Prometh w/ Codeine VC (I don't know what VC is, it's on the bottle), marketed by Alpharma. It's a pint bottle with a white & purple label, often with part of the label torn off (where the pharmacy's sticker once was). If you really wanna lean, nothing less than a deuce (2 oz) will do. And that deuce goes into your styrofoam cup, not a 1,2, or 3-liter. DXM is something completely different. I've robo'dONCE in my life and been sippin' since 1993 - there's a big big difference. Real lean actually tastes sweet like candy and is tasty to sip. DXM comes from Robotussin or elsewhere, tastes like crap, and makes you nauseous easily. Also, promethazine is an antihistamine which suppresses your cough... so you can take a huge shotgun off the sweet, feel like you're gonna die, take a sip, and watch your cough just go away. It's one of my favorite things about prometh. You can only get it through a doctor's connection but be careful.

look you idiots...take this from another person from Houston...birthplace of sippin drank and bangin screw...the only person in here that actually knows what syrup is, is J.P. Thank you, J.P. I was about to go off on these idiots about what drank was....what the hell is this crap about crushing pills, pouring liquor, or drinking DXM? when you sip some drank, you better know what the hell you are sippin cause if it isnt codeine with promethazine cough syrup, as well as thick and purple, its a bunch of crap. codeine/promethazine cough syrup comes only by prescription and you mix it with whatever you want to. street pricing varies... deuce can run anywhere from 20-35 bucks a fo' can run around 50-65 bucks an 8 can run anywhere between 95-120 bucks a pint can run anywhere from 150-220 bucks a gallon can run anywhere from 1200-1500 bucks these are just street prices...i know some of us can get it cheaper

You don't have to be from TX to know about sippin' on sizzurp, that is just where the the 'trend' started and then there were the rap songs. To sip on sizzurp you don't have to have any special cough syrup, it just has to have codeine in it. Codeine is a narcotic is available by prescription only, so whoever said something about buying over the counter in the US is wrong. If any of you think that promethazine/codeine syrup is the only good stuff you are wrong. There are prescription cough syrups that contain both DXM and codeine and there are certain cough syrups that have added ingredients which make the codeine work better and put the user even more at ease. Personally I think some of the syrups tastes just fine by themselves, but it doesn't hurt to mix with some soda. Cherry syrup and Coke is pretty good. For us real syrup junkies, syrup tastes VERY good by itself because I know when I taste it I will be f*cked up shortly. Promethazine is phenergan and is prescribed mainly for nausea. Eating this by itself or crushing it or what have you will not do anything except keep you from getting sick to your stomach. Poe' it up!

First off,..............Unless you are a moron as its been said & don't know about the S.U.C. or 3-6 then you know nathin'....Im way the PhuKKK up In T-Dot , Canada and you dont have be from Houston,to sip syrup... anywya Syrup is what you want basically everyone has there flava,..."Juicy J said this himeself" BUT YES TEH MAIN INGREDIANT WOULD BE CODEINE. eevry will have teher own flava,....Like it was said listen to "Oxy cotton" by lil wyte,..& many 3-6 tunes tehy are just talken bout get staright ripped,..Oxy's, Percs, Morphine, E,..... whateva is you thang basically.......... Around here we Use: Metahadone ( way easier to find & its already mixed w/ Tang / Orange Juice ) Gin, some Orange cough surpressent ( which adds a numbing feel ) some sprite & some candy skittles ( orange in my case ) My colour is orange, everyones different,.... the more popular way would be... some kinda fruit juice usualy purple or red add CODEINE - T3's have codeine,..but for this you need teh liquid stuff which is only perscribed,...... w/ a clear liqour & some peeps use Nyqol or another cough syrup aswell,...add some candy , skittles or jolly ranchers to sweeten it up and yer straight skrewed.... Keep in mind for the uneducated peopel,.. Codeine is Morphine, Morphine is Herion, Herion is Opium,... There all opiates any pill that has an opiate in it is gonna give tha same effect,..... basically just mix around till you find what werks for you..... you can easily overdos especially mixing alcohol w/ these drugs & in higher doses especially....... Ok first of you don't need the promethazine it's just an antihistamine. If you want that benadryl is stronger and crosses the blood brain barrier into the brain better so makes ya more drowsy. How much you use depends on what cough syrup you get for example Tussionex (my favorite) has 10 mg of hydrocodone in each tsp. It will vary but dose based on how much codiene there is not by what these fellas tell ya to put in. It will vary depending on how much you have used it cause you can get tollerance to opiates. Oh and for the guy who wanted to know what the VC on the bottle was. It means it's a class 5 controlled substance. That's based on the codiene contents so whatever.

Look a lot of people wanna sip on some lean but not only are they gettin taxed out the ass, they're gettin bogus shyt...kiddies make sure the bottle reads "barre, promethazine, codeine..." that's the real stuff... if it aint purple then it aint real syrup... if it's yellow then it's tuss, but not (real)lean...Like Big Moe from the S.U.C. said "Purple stuff!!!" That's exactly what ur looking for, the purple stuff... and remember if ur not a pro (or even if u r) do not drink and drink on this stuff...As for the questions about the codeine or promethazine pills... pop those when ur favorite alcoholic beverage and enjoy (not recommended for light weights)... but if u wanna enjoy ur pill experience then get u some xan-bars (also known as Xanex or handle bars)... Pop one of those (and have ur favorite alcoholic beverage handy) and have u a good ol' time... but u might not remember the nite if u drink too much...holla back if u need more info from a fellow texas-gurl!!!

You guys been listening to too much Three six Mafia. Look the active ingredient syzzurp is Promethazine with Codeine. It is the depressant that gives you the sedated sense of well being. There is also Phenergan Pronounced: FEN-er-gan who's generic ingredients are Promethazine hydrochloride and Codeine phosphate. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE. Phenergan with Codeine may cause considerable drowsiness. You need a doctors prescription to get a medicine with either of these drugs. You should not drive or operate dangerous machinery or participate in any hazardous activity that requires full mental alertness until you know how you react to this medication. Children should be carefully supervised while they are bike-riding, roller-skating, or playing until the drug's effect on them is established. Have fun but be careful.

Look peeps, im from that StL (Saint Louis) hurr in tha stl, we do alil 6it of errthang, we do them Westside thangz, them EastCoast thangz, and them down South thangz like whut they call "Lean" We call it that PURP. I kno 2 wayz 2 make that s*** 4real. Some of yal iz half rite, half wrong or all rite and some of yal iz juss all WRONG. All you gotta do 4real iz get a hold of that Promethazine w\Codeine Syrup. I dont kno how much u gone pay 4 that on tha market 6ut in tha streetz however many ounces you want will be tha price with an extra zero at the end...Ex...2oz=$20...4oz=$40...8oz=$80 and a pint (16oz) =$160 all you do is get that and get a soda of your choice and a JollyRancher to have soakin at tha 6ottom and you juss succ on that when u done drankin. and if you want 2, Roll up a 6lunt and dip it on in thurr and let it dry out while u drankin and fire that up aftawardz and u gooooooooood.

i get 250ml sizzurp with each 5ml containing 10mg codeine phosphate. im in spain here that cost just under 5 euros we dont have purple but red there are to main legal and non-subscription bottles the 220ml bottle of codeine hydrochloride (Brand Name Bisolvon Compositum) and 250 of codeine phosphate (Brand Name Toseina). for those less aware hydochloride is one of the purest forms of a drug i.e cocaine hydrochloride or methylphenidate hydrochloride (Ritalin). no prescription needed this is a great country for pouring up some syrup. i prefer a uk measure single or double of jack daniels or any whiskey with syrup and coca-cola or sprite. i drink syrup at least once each month. Drinking too much promthazine and youll be going to sleep before getting a buzz. Mix it with booz and youll be even worse. On the other hand the good thing about promethazine is that it increases Codiene or any other opiate for that matter by as much as two folds. You can make your own sizzurp with the promethazine pills BECUASE ITS A HYDROCHLORIC SALT MEANING IT WILL DISOVLE IN WATTER as for the codiene good luck findig some codiene pills without tylenol in it, you can use oxycontin, becuase that will also disolve in water, Thats why people slam them.

To create Lean, a popular drink originated from Houston Texas, you require the following for the original formula: -Promethazine w/Codeine VC <- Sizzurp (active ingredient) -Original Sprite Soda <- Mixing ingredient (although different flavors of sprite are now used, such as sprite remix) -Jolly rancher candy <- Flavor additive Put it all in a styrofoam cup and enjoy. The codeine is mainly responsible for the euphoric feeling after drinking lean. Promethazine causes motor skill impairment, lethargy, extreme drowsiness, as well as a disassociative feeling from all other parts of the body, specifically the stomach and digestive system. If it doesn't have promethazine w/ Codeine, it isn't real sizzurp. The mixed drink combination known as "lean", is normally the color purple, due the added ingredient sizzurp, which is originally a dark purple syrup. There are other colors of sizzurp which can be added to create lean, but the purple is the true sizurp Lean does not contain ANY form of alcohol, crushed pills, or other liquids in general.

Okay....heres the way that you make PROPPER sizzurp. It takes some time, but it will get you. 1. aquire some cough syrup that contains Dextromethoriphan as the active ingredient. Try to avoid any other active ingredients becuase they will burn a hole in youre liver if youre a constant sizzurp drinker. 2. Aquire any kind of opiate, that means Oxycodine, Heroin, Loritabs, Morphine (dripping, or pill), Vicodin, Black Tar (raw opium, although it doesnt taste good), Percocet, or the default codine anything that contains opium. Although if you cant aquire this (which is perfectly fine if you cant), skip the next step. 3. Get a pot of water with about 1.5 cups of water boiling and put in whatever opiate that youve aquired into the pot. You will see the pills slowly dissolve into the boiling water. Make sure they dissolve completely. 4. Take youre bottle of cough syrup and do the extraction process which is specified here: http://www.third-plateau.org/tips/extract.html 5. Once you have extracted youre dxm, mix it with the pill solution. 6. Boil it down to aproximatly .5 cups of liquid substance !!VERY POTENT!! 7. Take about .25 (a quarter cup) of youre most potent alcohol. I would like to say about 40% alcohol. 8. mix it into youre solution, you should have about 3/4ths cup of liquid. 9. Get creative, mix in youre favorite soda, many people prefer grape or orange, but you dont have to be "many people" try to restrict it to .25 (quarter cup) of liquid. 10. To replace "promenthazine" go and aquire any benzodiazipine such as valium, xanax, klonopin, dizapine...and melt it on a teaspoon with some water and stir it into the solution (like tea)keep the spoon in. 11. Put it in a cold place, such as a fridge for half an hour. 12. Once its nice and cold, stir, enjoi! This is very potent stuff. It will get you off REALLY good, this is not youre avrege "sizzurp" even if you skipped the pill process, you will still have something that packs a punch. Please be careful and SIP the SIZZURP, dont crush it...I dont want to be responsible for the death of anyone. Serving size: one person.

the truth and syrup sipper is so wrong first to get throwed buy an a official pimp cup no less than 70 bucks this is very important cuz if u dont use this cup it wont work,second and a pint of gasoline ,nautica cologne or burberry cologne, crack heads saliva, battery acid, crushed vicodin 4 preferably, 1 oz of breast milk, blunt ashes,dandriff, selsun blue,1 oz paul masson, kool aid,crushed nutmeg and hrdro seeds(ha ha)and last but not least a quarter inch of a mermaids tail,and trust me u wont be able 2 walk straight matter of fact you will be as useless as a ashtray on a motorcycle hollaback at ya muhhh fuuickng boy repping atlantis come visit me at ogkilla@comcast.net

Your getting the high off of codeine, promethazine just makes you a lil sleepi codeine does too but codeine is wut u getting the real high from cause codeine is related to heroin and morphine its a opiod or opiate i should say just like oxycontin and hydrocodone and promethazine-codeine or promethazine vc codeine the vc is red and the other is purple an mix an ace or deuce or trey or four up wit soda str8 or with liquor not too much liquor it could slow your breathing down too much so don't mix liquor if you sipping on a trey or four tho shyt i get 4oz of the purple barre for 15.99 like 2 times a week i rite my own prescrption my dad is a doctor too thats how i get the prescrption pads chronic use can cause a real addiction tho.a deuce on the street is around 10 - 30 dollars.

Well, it seems that the consensus is 2-4oz. of Promethazine with Codeine Cough Syrup mixed with 12oz. of Sprite (I prefer Sierra Mist myself) and a Jolly Rancher. As for how to obtain the �syrup,� going to a doctor and telling them you �got a [painful] cough that keeps you up at night and you have tried robotussin DM and it didnt work� sounds plausible, though I can�t imagine being able to get much more than 118mL (8oz.) at a time. Some news magazine recently did an expos� about getting prescription drugs online without a Rx. In this case, enter �no prescription Promethazine with Codeine Cough Syrup� into a search engine and you will likely find an online pharmacy to buy from. But, then again, you might want to check out the www.usdoj.gov page: �DOCTOR PLEADS GUILTY TO DEFRAUDING MEDICARE AND ILLEGALLY DISTRIBUTING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES,� April 6, 2005. A couple of docs in Houston, TX were busted for selling Rx for syrup-2500 gallons total and essentially fined almost $2 million each. I say do what I do: take a 1L soda or water bottle, add 2+oz. of Everclear and fill the rest up with Sprite (Sierra Mist.) It�s legal so no-one is going to jail and it�ll make ya feel noice.

Im holdin it down for Manchester NH da 603!!! and I sip just about everyday but befo' u start leanin hears what u gotta do: 1.)Make sure u have enough $$ set aside so u dont spend everything on syrup and end up livin in da streets 2.)Contact da doctor and tell the btch u gotta painful cough...tell him u got it from ur girl or sumthin...and just to make sure u get theright sht say somethin like "My girlfriends doctor gave her promethyzine wit Codeine and it worked" that way he's sure to give u tha same 3.)Get ya cup 4.)Pour 2-4 oz. of prometh in cup 5.)add soda or juice (sprite is the best!) 6.) Then like paul wall say's...SIP-N-GET HIGH Peace!!! ps. by the way the steps u just read actually do work it's the exact steps I took to get me sippin!!!

To create Lean, a popular drink originated from Houston Texas, you require the following for the original formula: -Promethazine w/Codeine VC <- Sizzurp (active ingredient) -Original Sprite Soda <- Mixing ingredient (although different flavors of sprite are now used, such as sprite remix) -Jolly rancher candy <- Flavor additive Put it all in a styrofoam cup and enjoy. Man most of you guys don't know what Drank, Lean, syrup, whatever is. It's Promethazine with Codeine. Promethazine is an antihistamine and a sedative, it makes codeine stronger and more enjoyable, because codeine produces nausea, and stomach discomfort so it helps. Codeine on the other hand is a narcotic, it's what gives you the high off, off lean. Theirs a lot of cough syrups that work like lean or better. The good stuff has to have: Codeine Hydrocodone Dihydrocodeine Hydromorphone Morphine Codeine and Hydrocodone are the most common, Hydromorphone and Morphine are the strongest and there for produce a more powerful high. Dihydrocodeine is like codeine but it's not that common. You have to have a scrip for it, but in some states like New Jersey you can get it over-the-counter, just tell the guy that you have a really bad painful cough and that the robotussin didn't help, he'll give you some over-the-counter in some states. Simply go to the doctor and tell him the same and you'll get a more stronger version of lean. I like hydrocodone, phenylephedrine, and chlorpheniramine. Take 1-8 ounces depending on tolerance, mix it with sprite or any favorite soda, put in a jolly rancher if you want shake it and start sippin' its stronger if you sip it in 20 min and then get another in 4-6 hours. I like to sit and listen to music or watch t.v. chill man... You can also have a very similar experience from vicodin, Tylenol w/ codeine, Percocet, Percodan, Oxycontin, MS contin, Morphine Sulfate, Darvocet, Darvon, the list keeps on going. Although mix it with promethazine, Benadryl, Atarax, or any strong antihistamine and there you have lean. I also like to take valium, ativan, xanax, or klonopin with the lean. Makes it a lot more cozyer and better. Most lean cough syrups have: A-C, HC, PD, w/codeine, w/hydrocodone in the bottle. NO Tuss, DM, DMX, Dextromethorphan!!! That stuff sucks and tastes really bad. Although some people get really really sleepy with promethazine, benadryl, atarax so for those, stick with Vicodin, Tylenol with Codeine, Percocet, Percodan, Oxycontin, etc. Have fun and don't pay more than $25 per ounce you can get 8 ounces for $10 if you have a prescription. There for you make lean, drank, whatever you call it with: 1-8 ounces of Promethazine w/Codeine 3-16.9 ounces of sprite 1-3 pieces of jolly ranchers 1-3 pieces of ice Then shake, put on some music and enjoy I personally like mine with: 4 ounces of Hydrocodone/Phenylephedrine/Chlorpheniramine 12 ounces of sprite with ice and no jolly rancher (Shake well before putting the ice) Then I put on some spm, 50 cent, eminem, 2 pac whatever even RBD jaja and sip and chill. - Yoboy1

i live in ukraine and we don't have such a big choice in cough syrups as in america... we have cough syrup TUSSIN... it sounds alike as something you guys have... i've never tried it though... i think it is the type of syrup that you people say contains codiene... i drink Glikodin... it is the name of the syrup that is sold here and the one that i drink... it contains DXM... the problem here is that Glikodin has a mint taste... and it makes me shake from the memory of its taste... on the internet i'm trying to find a way to some how make it easier to drink... can anyone give some advice...thx okay about TUSSIN... people dry drinking it with grapefruit juice))) P.S. don't say to drink it with alcohol cuz i don't drink.

You guys are not only ignorant but completely uneducated about promethazine/codeine but at the same time giving out false information with severe fatal endings. FYI promethazine is actually used for nausea, while codeine is a wide range medication used for things such as pain and when mixed with promethazine it acts as a sedative while supressing your cough. To mix this syrup with any other Rx med that has codeine and/or is derived from codeine is an overdose waiting to happen and a waste of good drugs!! 6/6 1 part codeine syrup 1 part vodka 1 part S.ern Kumfert 3 parts Orange Juice all parts must be = effect = morphine no withdrawal, no hangover don't smoke after drinking the glass. If you like or can tolerate "Hi. Punch" this is my "version" and in my case legal. The mixture used for the terminally ill is 1 pint ethanol (evrcler) 1 pint Syrup 1 oz. Cocaine 1 oz. Morphine the taste in unpleasant, but mixing it with orange juice 50% or more makes it easy and it lasts for a long period of time. I can also tell you, gate-r-ade will intensify the effect if sub'd4 orange juice, but could also kill you. I am dying, so don't take the risk if you are scared. meperdine does not relieve pain for me anymore, but the "punch" does work. I have read all above. I will do nothing illegal. This is for entertainment purposes only. Do not do anything illegal. I just do not believe anyone should suffer needlessly, as I do most of the time. Opium is the safest of all pain killers, but is schedule I. The codien syrup is III. Asprin, acetaminophen & ibuprophen are very dangerous for long term use. The only reason I submitted this, is because I do not want anyone to do anything illegal and much of the information above could be very harmful because they do not know the risks or do not care about the risk. This is for relief of severe pain, for those who can't get it all the help they need from their Dr. or can't afford it. Make the most of what you can get from the Dr.. hidrakodowne is not the answer for anyone, that wants their brain intact. My punch is far better for you than any method listed above, at least not as harmful, sorry.

listen.... alot of what was said is wrong and alot is right. Im only going to tell you one way we do it in jersey. Go to the doctor the next time you have a bad cough. When your waiting for him after your vitals are taken really start to cough. I mean go to town until tears are flowing from your eyes. This shouldnt be too hard considering your already sick. This will in effect make your throat red and your eyes red and swollen. Great, good job. Now when the doctor checks you out ask him for some tussionex. Tell him your mom gave you some and it worked well. Heled you sleep. Now, you can straight up take this by itself. ACTUALLY taste great. You could mix it with your favorite juice. If you really want to get twisted crush some painkillers and add. Made sure you crush well. You want atleast 2 oz'sof tuss. If your a BIG boy make it three. Do not and I repeat do not mix with beer or vodka or anything else for that nature. You will be so bent that you will call people you have not spoke to in years. Remember this is tussionex. Its liquid vicodin but more potent.

Y'all most be smokin crack as well as drinkin syrup. All syrup is, is cough syrup, with DXM as the active ingredient. Syrup is DXM, from the cough SYRUP. You can add stuff to it. But syrup means DXM from such syrups as Robotussin. (my fav) I suggest all you clueless people visit www.erowid.org and check out the "Plants and Drugs" section, then check out the DXM section.

Im from pasadena TX ( sur east houston) ... Lean is cough syrup w/ codeine or codone... DXM is a nice addition but not nessacary... promethazine w/codiene is a fav or mine... mix 2-4 ounces Lean- sprite remix- a shot of vodka(or 2)- a couple grape, strawberry or watermellon jollies, and some sonic ice... drank while screw or spm is bangin in your speakers... promethazine with codeine is exactly what the name of the cough syrup is. Promethazine is an antihistamine which causes pretty good sedation. If you do not know what codeine is, you are a moron. I guess you could mix it with sprite, but i think it tastes just peachy by itself. If you call your doc and tell him you are having some painful coughing, he will most likely give you this syrup. Every time i have called him because of a cough, this is what he's given me. Have fun!!!

well all you guys are in the wrong bussiness. i work at a pharmacy and i can say there is way better things than promethazine, about the milk of magnesia that is so you wont get constipated off of it because promethazine with codeine gets you constipated. and guess what we get a pint for 8.99, suckers!!!!!

Man what are y'all saying? Syrup is Tussinex plain and simple. It tastes like lemonade. I mean you can get bent on dat stuff but it's just like takin Hydros to me. Rainbow colors in my cup. Oh yeah vodka and sunkist is Pimp Juice not syrup don't get it twisted ya dig?

What it do?? Well, lets just say that everyone has their own version of what LEAN or SYRUP is. Down here in alabama...we just get a duece of lean, like homeboy said up there somewhere, pour it up in some sprite...then put in ya favorite DSR, PAUL WALL, CHAMILLION, LBP, RASAQ, MIKE JONES or any other chopped and screwed cd (make absolute sure it's chopped tho) and just get throwed! And if u real gangsta..gon' head and dip ya blunt in da lean and smoke some codeine green...Maaaaaaaaan Hol Upppppp!!!!

Crazy answers on this sippin thang. However you get the medicine is how u get it. U can po' a 2,4,8, or a whole pint if u a beginner etc. Anyway just get some Promethazine/Codeine (brown transparent bottle, white cap), mix it with sprite(preferably) or your fav soda, shake it well and put it on some crushed ice and u rest to lean. Lean at your own risk though. It'll have u slurred and blurred so pop in some screwed and chopped and not slopped up jamz and do ya thang!!!!!!!! Str8 from Arkansas holla back!!!!

If you want to get dxm and codeine together legally its easy. Some drug stores will sell it over the counter. It is called mytussin AC. This has both ingredients in it. However, you will need to bring in your state ID and will have to sign a waiver form. By doing this you also agree that you will not attempt to buy the product again for a certain amount of time designated by your state. DXM is simply dextromethorphen. It is cough syrup. Any doctor will prescribe it for a cold anyway, but it is not actually a prescription. Add your jolly rancher and alcohol
