Salt is made up of two elements"sodium and chlorine. Imagine you could divide a crystal of salt over and over again. What will happen when you finally divide a single molecule of salt?

if you divided a single molecule of salt, you would end up with half a molecule of salt.

you get down to a molecule then if you separate that you get one atom of chlorine, and one atom of sodium.

duh you'd get sodium and chlorine which means if you'd breathe the chlorine then you'd probably die and the sodium would burst into flame because of contact with the oxygen...DUH

Salt will divide into it's elements sodium and chloride only under certain conditions for instance if you place salt in a solution of potassium sodium will leave and be replace by potassium.

When you divide a molecule u get half a molecule. When you divide half of that you get a fourth of the whole molecule itself.
