how do you get Australian Shepherds to stop bitting/chuing stuff?

You could try putting something like red pepper or tobasco sauce on the things he/she most often chews on. Chewing is an instinct in dogs and you can't make then stop. You need to give it something it can chew on and teach it witch things not to chew on. Be consistent too.Good luck!!!

You can buy something called sour apple spray. It tastes disgusting and is ment for dogs that bite. Just spray it on the things that you don't want it to bite.
