A 1935 Canadian nickel had a mintage of 3,900,000.  Depending on the condition or grade of this coin it may be worth anywhere from 50 cents to 300 dollars.  A George V coin should be examined for wear on the band of the crown.  Check if the jewels in the crown are still visible.  If so, you may want to send the coin to the International Coin Certification Service (ICCS) in Toronto for grading. The phone number is  Tel: 416-488-8620. See our site at www.canadiancointree.com to view nickels similar to yours.
