I have a Chrysler Intrepid 1996.  The check engine light is still on after a full tune up.  Does anyone have any idea what these numbers indicate.  I tried calling a dealership to see if a technician would give me the time of day, but alas, no.  I turned the ignition to start (but not a full turnover) 3 times and these are the numbers that came up:

1, 2, 4, 3, 4, 3, 5, 1, 5, 5

Any information (correct please) would be helpful.  Thanks,

GS

Please take your car to a reputable mechanic in your area who has scan tool capability. I have found out the hard way that there is a recall on the fuel rail that feeds your injectors. This problem caused my 11 yr old small business to burn down. Don't be the next victim! Oh by the way the 3.5 l. V-6 has a problem sucking the intake gasket causing a EGR code. That is more than likely your problem. Please look into recall on fuel rail system it may save your life. END

code 43 Peak primary coil current not achieved with max dwell time OR Cylinder misfire Problem in power module to logic module interface
code 12 Battery or computer recently disconnected  code 51 Oxygen sensor stuck at lean position (Bob Lincoln wrote: may be tripped by a bad MAP sensor system causing a rich condition, and the O2 sensor trying to compensate. The O2 sensor may still be good. The MAP assembly consists of two pieces, the valve and the vacuum transducer (round plastic unit with cylinder on top and both electrical and vacuum connections) - If you get hot rough idle and stalling, especially on deceleration, accompanied by flooded engine and difficulty restarting, that can be a bad MAP sensor causing the O2 sensor to try to compensate. If you get poor cold drive ability, stumbling and bucking, and acceptable warm driving with poor gas mileage (a drop of 10 mpg or more), that is usually the O2 sensor. [Webmaster note: MAP sensors seem to die regularly.] code 55  end of codes

the first two numbers in the sequence ie.1,2 mean the the codes are about to begin. the real codes 43, 43, 51
code 55 means the codes are over
you should go to your local library and check the chilton book out for your car.

The numbers you referring to are error code numbers. A dealer or an all make auto repair shop should be able to read these numbers to determine what the on board computers are sending back to be downloaded for repair.

I am looking for brand new rack bushing does anyone know where I can get them from.

I had the same problem and all the tech. guy did was take out the throttle body and it was gummed up from the valve cover breather and some of the oil vapor got in there....her cleaned it out with a cleaner and re-installed it then unplugged the battery for 10 sec's and I have never had a problem with it since
