  Do any one knows a script, or a simple package, that make substitions in vi simpler? For example, if I want to change every ${\alpha+2$  to $2+\alpha$, I would like to type something like

substitutions:g/${\alpha+2$/$2+\alpha$/g

and not

:g/\$\$\alpha\+2\$/s//\$2\+\alpha\$/g

Sorry if this particular example is too simple or, maybe, wrong, but it ilustrates my question well.
