My 10-month-old German Shepherd will not hold up his right ear, although he can. Is there anything I can do to make it stand on its own? He is a beautiful dog but the floppy ear detracts from his appearance.

I heard taping is not a solution. This will damage the dog's cartilage.

I tried taping my dogs ears and it didn't work for me, it made them flop more so if a body has anymore ideas I would be interested in hearing them.
