I have a 10 year old siberian husky and every year from since he was 7 years old he has nibbled on his front leg, causing it to get a sore and he has to wear a cone.  It seems to occur the same time every year (Fall,Winter), and it's the same leg every year.  I was wondering if this is common among Siberian Huskies.  I've had two vets tell me two different things.  One said he was board and I need to spend more time with him, but I can't spend 24hrs a day with him (Unfortunately I have to work).  The other said that she's read something about this, but she didn't know how to stop it.

Anyone having similar problems.
