could you tell us the value of a promisary note dated dec. 15, 1840, in the amount of 1000.00, with the number 8894 in the upper corners.

Hi..I'm afraid you have a famous fake.Thousand of these fake notes were printed.You see them sold on ebay everyday to newbies to collecting.Real notes were never printed on yellow parchment paper.Also real notes of this era had hand ink signatures never printed like on this fake.

also  promisary notes dated  12.15.1840in the amount of 1000.00, with the number 8894 in the upper corners..And my name is Teri as well. Thanks for asking and answering my question  :)  Are they completely worthless?
