I don't know what the temperament of a lab is but huskies are known for having a great temperament. Mine have never hurt anyone and I trust them enough that I take my 5 month old sister out to see them. Any thing with husky in it would probably be a great family pet.

I work in a dog daycare with up to 90 dogs some days. I am also a husky owner.

I find labs to be the BEST dogs for children.

I also know that huskies are very well natured and get along great with my sister's 2 year old twins.

So, you probably have a great combo.

LABS ARE VERY WARM DOGS AND ARE GREAT WITH KIDS. HUSKIES ARE ALSO VERY WARM AND LOVING WITH KIDS. I WOULD NOT BE WORRIED A BIT AS FAR AS THE COMBINATION IS CONCERNED. IF YOU THINK OR KNOW THAT THE DOG HAS BEEN ABUSED IN THE PAST, BE CAUTIOUS AND GET TO KNOW THE DOG BEFORE YOU PUT TOO MUCH TRUST IN IT, WHICH SHOULD BE THE CASE WITH ANY DOG THAT HAS AN ABUSED PAST.

We had a Female Siberian/Lab mix for 9 years.  She was the most wonderful dog.  Eager to play with and have her belly rubbed by people of any age.  I never hesitated to trust her with small children.  She was a great and gentle family pet and is very much missed.  If I could duplicate her I would without changing a thing!
